Lucky Break (Completed: 26 Dec 2014)
Now, his laboratory is quite useful for his goals. Or, at least it would be if they didn't come down and... Well, no use crying over spilled tea. You would think that hiding the only entrance to your lab deep in dangerous woods with the disguise of an old wooden shack, but no.
Of course painless was an option, she wasn't one for making things easy after all.
Astro lithely hopped down from a large spruce and made her way, dodging any leaves that looks suspiciously crunchy.. To keep her cover, obviously, and pushed inside the the laboratory and found her way around, the room was dark and she usually would have been suspocious but the fact of the matter was she had done this millions of times before.
Of course, they just might. You don't have the best technology for an old abandoned lab. I mean this place is ooold. It took you awhile to clean up the dangerous chemicals and corpses. They all died from some disease they resurrected. Dumb scientist, messing with life. Fortunately, you don't have your eyes on Biological Life. You have made A.I.s before, all eventually taken by the flow of time. Such a shame, you think to yourself.
Letting out a small, annoyed little grunt, the smaller AI transformed her forearm into a small laser, one that could cut through metal if needed. Quickly feeling for a weak spot in the door, she aimed and began tracing out an exact cut out of herself.... How cheesy.
Stepping through the opening, Astro peeked around, eyes scanning the area for any movement- ah! There... She smirked a little and began moving forward.
Just take a big sip and burn your tongue in the process. There's nothing like a hot drink without burning yourself on the first sip. This needs marshmallows, now that you think of it.
Astro just kind of stands there, looking a bit lost and confused. "Yo- uh.. Lucky?" She stutters out, squinting a bit before shifting to her other foot. "Well shit, you even made me a drink."
You takes a sip, successfully not burning yourself. "Ah, but there is no need for hostilities, if that is what you are after. And yes, they drinks are open to the ones who don't deck me in the face." you add, lightly chuckling.
"I guess I've been come to kill you, although I don't see why, you seem like a reasonable guy and I'd much rather kill that bitch Dev, although those weren't my orders." She explains cooly, of course this guy should know who Dev is, after all. She takes another looooong sip.
"Ah, but it's probably a hopeless effort, right? Sure, I could escape and all that stuff. I can never seem to die, and that's the only luck I have."
"Look guy, I dont care for either of you.. But I have a proposal for ya'." She explained, one hand on her hip, rolling her shoulders.. She began walking around Lucky, like a lioness and her prey.
"You give me all I need to know about Dev, his blueprints, weaknesses, faults in the system, yeah? I'll have him fucking dead by the time I check back in." Astro leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"So, do we have a deal, partner?"
